Job summary

850 Pro LLC is seeking a Network & Low Voltage Technician to install and troubleshoot commercial networks, cabling, and AV/surveillance systems for restaurants and hospitality clients in Northwest Florida. You will work hands-on on ladders, pull cable, mount equipment, and assemble network racks in customer environments.

Ideal candidates have a solid networking foundation and the ability to troubleshoot, with experience in Ubiquiti/UniFi considered a major plus.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in computer networking and ability to troubleshoot.
• Familiarity with network cabling, switches, routers, and access points.
• Experience with Ubiquiti/UniFi is a major plus.
• Experience with AV, surveillance, or POS systems is valuable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test and troubleshoot Cat6/network cabling
• Install and configure network switches, routers, access points and related equipment
• Build and dress network racks
• Troubleshoot wired and wireless networks
• Install access points, cameras, TVs and other low-voltage equipment
• Work with Ubiquiti/UniFi networking and surveillance systems
• Assist with commercial audio and AV-over-IP installations
• Work directly with restaurant owners, managers and other customers
• Lead or assist other technicians on larger projects
• Document installations and follow established system designs
• Help identify additional technology needs we may be able to solve for our customers
