Job summary

South Sioux City Area Chamber of Commerce & CVB is seeking a Network Engineer to architect and maintain our critical infrastructure across multiple sites in Dakota Dunes, SD. This 100% on-site position requires hands-on management of physical infrastructure, networks, and security.

You will design, implement, and optimize multi-site networks, manage routers, switches, and firewall policies, and collaborate with IT to keep data center and enterprise networks performing at peak levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in a network engineer role.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in CS/IT or related field.
• Experience with enterprise routing/switching and firewall management.
• Ability to document configurations and changes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize multi-site network infrastructure.
• Manage routers, switches, and firewall policies.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data center and enterprise networks.
• Lead network security upgrades and initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT Helpdesk to resolve complex network issues.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and bring innovative solutions.
