Job summary

empirical foods, inc. is hiring a Network Engineer to architect and maintain our critical multi-site network infrastructure at our Dakota Dunes, SD facility.

The role is 100% on-site and requires hands-on management of physical infrastructure and connectivity across sites. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a network engineer role, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred, and excels in routing, switching, firewall management, and network security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a network engineer or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise routing, switching, and multi-site networking.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize multi-site network infrastructure including routers, switches.
• Firewall administration and change management.
• Maintain Data Center and Enterprise networks through proactive monitoring and rapid troubleshooting.
• Lead network security initiatives and infrastructure upgrades.
• Collaborate with IT Helpdesk to resolve complex network challenges.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce innovative solutions.
