Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Network Administrator to join the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Keyport team. The role focuses on maintaining and securing Cisco-based networks that support UUVOC and mission critical operations.

You will work with a collaborative technical team to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing network operations across operational and research environments. This on-site position aligns with a September start and possible security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in IT/engineering or related field with relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility possible.
• DoD 8140 compliant certification such as CompTIA Network+/Security+, or Cisco CCNA preferred.
• 3+ years administering Cisco networking equipment and LAN/WAN environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and secure Cisco based network infrastructure supporting mission operations.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices for maximum availability.
• Support operational and RDT&E network environments.
• Perform system updates, patching, and configuration changes with accurate documentation.
• Monitor network performance, identify issues, and resolve outages quickly.
• Maintain compliance with DISA STIGs and Navy cybersecurity requirements.
• Support security by implementing hardening standards and monitoring posture.
• Assist with capacity planning, technology refresh, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Provide technical input for hardware replacement and procurement.
