Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Keyport. You will plan, coordinate, and execute hardware and software integration in a secure IT environment, working with government leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical systems.

You will help prepare briefings, translate complex concepts into clear documen­tation, and support end-to-end system lifecycle activities from planning to transition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Engineering or a related technical discipline with 6+ years (Masters) or 8+ years (Bachelor's) of experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility or TS/SCI.
• Current DoD 8140 compliant certification such as Network+, Security+, or Cisco CCNA.
• 3+ years of experience integrating hardware and software in networked IT environments.
• Experience with cloud computing services and hosting technologies like AWS.
• Strong ability to communicate technical information to technical and nontechnical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of hardware and software integration in a secure IT environment.
• Collaborate with government leadership and technical teams to deliver integrated system solutions.
• Prepare and deliver status updates, technical briefings, and reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Translate complex concepts into clear documentation and communications for diverse audiences.
• Support full system lifecycle including planning, testing, phased deployments, and transition activities.
• Document designs, integration plans, and system configurations.
• Facilitate working groups and coordinate across multiple stakeholders to drive decisions.
• Ensure integration activities meet cybersecurity, operational, and mission requirements.
• Support end-user training and knowledge transfer during implementation.
