Job summary

090 OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND ENTERPRISE SERV in Oklahoma City seeks a Network Administrator to plan, implement, and maintain state IT networks and telecom programs. The role supports the Information Services Division and requires a CS-related degree with several years of network operations experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in computer science or related field and at least four years of Network Operations experience.
• Or 10+ years of Networking Infrastructure administration and support.
• HPE Juniper proficiency and expertise preferred.
• Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, and implements state IT networks and telecom programs.
• Provides data/voice network services; maintains systems; resolves issues.
• Installs and tests data/voice/wireless networks and routers; adjusts components.
• Coordinates with users, agencies, vendors to determine requirements and plan tasks.
• Manages public safety network and ensures state/federal security compliance.
• Researches network technologies and recommends efficiency improvements.
• Cross trains IT staff to strengthen IT service support.
• Other duties as assigned.
