Job summary

Life Cycle Engineering in San Diego seeks a Project Planner to support CNSP Readiness Assistance Training Team (RATT). You will develop, maintain, and deconflict the master schedule for RATT and ORCA events, coordinating with CNSP staff, ship leadership, and RATT teams to align visits and resources.

This role requires five years of project planning or scheduling experience, familiarity with Navy readiness cycles, and strong analytical skills to minimize travel costs and resolve conflicts across

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or logistics coordination.
• Experience using scheduling software and tools to manage complex projects with multiple dependencies.
• Strong understanding of U.S. Navy operational scheduling, fleet readiness cycles, and training event coordination.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to deconflict schedules and manage resources.
• U.S. citizenship and active DoD security clearance eligibility (may be considered).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage the master schedule for RATT and ORCA events.
• Coordinate with CNSP staff, ship leadership, and RATT teams to identify and prioritize ship visit requirements.
• Deconflict competing schedules, requirements, resources, and dependencies.
• Optimize the employment of RATT personnel and teams across multiple events and geographic locations.
• Coordinate scheduling in consideration of Navy operational requirements, fleet readiness cycles, and training events.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts that could affect program execution.
• Support efficient resource utilization and help minimize travel costs associated with RATT and ORCA events.
