Job summary

Sperton Global AS is seeking an experienced Civil Municipal Engineer for a challenging on-site role in Wayne, New Jersey. You will work on municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage systems, utilities, and related public improvements, from planning through construction.

The position requires a P.E. license, a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, and a minimum of 3 years’ municipal design experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Active P.E. license required.
• 3+ years of civil or municipal engineering experience.
• Experience with municipal infrastructure design (roads, drainage, utilities).
• On-site work in Wayne, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Design municipal infrastructure projects (roads, drainage, utilities).
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, calculations, and docs.
• Support permitting and regulatory submissions.
• Support projects from planning through construction.
• Manage multiple active projects and workstreams.
• Provide construction support: RFIs, shop drawings, field conditions, etc.
• Coordinate with municipal clients, agencies, consultants and teams.
