Job summary

PWORLD Jobs & Education seeks a strong Civil Municipal Engineer to design infrastructure projects, lead from planning through construction, and coordinate with municipal clients in Mount Holly/Wayne, NJ. You’ll prepare plans, specs, and calculations, while supporting permitting and project delivery.

The role requires hands‑on design experience, PE license, and the ability to manage multiple projects on-site in New Jersey. On-site work is expected at Mount Holly or Wayne locations.

Qualifications

• Strong civil municipal engineer profile with municipal infrastructure background and hands-on design experience.
• 3+ years civil or municipal engineering experience.
• Experience supporting projects from design through construction (planning, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery).
• Experience with roadway, drainage, utility, or similar public infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on design capability including preparation of plans, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Able to provide construction support (reviewing shop drawings, contractor questions, field conditions, and RFIs).
• Able to manage multiple projects and coordinate with municipal clients and public agencies.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Preferred: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, Revit, Bluebeam, and Mathcad.
• Willing to work on-site in Mount Holly or Wayne, New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Design municipal infrastructure projects including roads, drainage systems, utilities, and related public improvements.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation; support permitting and regulatory submissions.
• Support projects from planning and design through construction, including technical workstreams, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery.
• Provide construction support by reviewing shop drawings, contractor questions, field conditions, RFIs, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with municipal clients, public agencies, consultants, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
