Crawford Thomas Recruiting has a client in Fort Worth seeking a Multifamily Community Operations Manager to lead daily operations of a residential community. The role focuses on leasing oversight, resident relations, financial management, and site leadership across the team.

The ideal candidate brings multifamily management experience, strong leadership and budgeting skills, and knowledge of Texas regulations.

Qualifications

• Two years or more of multifamily property-management experience.
• Experience supervising leasing, maintenance, or community personnel.
• Knowledge of Texas landlord-tenant requirements and fair-housing regulations.
• Experience with leasing activity, resident relations, collections, renewals, and apartment turns.
• Ability to read and understand property budgets, expenses, revenue, and P&L statements.
• Familiarity with property-management software; Entrata preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and business tech.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily operations of the assigned residential community.
• Lead, train, schedule, and support on-site leasing and maintenance teams.
• Set daily priorities and ensure service and performance standards are met.
• Monitor leasing activity, occupancy, applications, renewals, and resident retention.
• Review and approve applications, lease documents, and related paperwork.
• Ensure fair applicant screening and leasing practices are followed.
• Build positive resident relationships and address concerns professionally.
• Oversee service requests and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Review financial performance, budgets, expenses, and P&L results.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase revenue.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and coordinate collections.
