Job summary

Coastal Ridge Real Estate in Columbus, OH is seeking a Project Manager for Multifamily Capex to act as owner’s representative and lead capital improvement projects at our student housing and conventional communities.

You will manage projects from initial assessment through budgeting, bidding, execution, and turnover, coordinating with Asset Management, Operations, and Regional teams while maintaining schedules, budgets, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, architecture, engineering, or real estate development is preferred.
• 3–5+ years managing multifamily capital projects OR 8+ years in a project management role/environment.
• Thorough knowledge of construction, estimating, project management, and capital improvement project planning principles

Responsibilities

• Serve as owner’s representative for capital improvement projects.
• Manage projects from assessment through turnover to operations.
• Use PM software to track scope, schedule, budget, and milestones.
• Ensure licenses, insurance, safety and compliance with codes and company standards.
• Coordinate with asset management and regional teams on scope, budget, and timelines.
