Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking an Assistant Property Manager – Multifamily to support leasing, rent collection, and financial reporting at an on-site community. This role works closely with the Property Manager and may assume full responsibility in their absence, requiring attention to detail and strong people skills.

You will generate reports, maintain resident records, and help oversee operations, with a focus on resident satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in multifamily property management or leasing.
• New Development Experience, Class A or B leasing preferred.
• Working knowledge of property management software (OneSite/Yardi) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with state lease documents, Fair Housing laws, and Property Code.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with flexibility and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports to track leasing activity, occupancy, and financial performance.
• Maintain up-to-date resident records, including rent payments, deposits, and lease documents.
• Assist the Property Manager in overseeing all aspects of community operations.
• Process rent payments, application fees, deposits, and issue late notices.
• Greet prospective residents, provide tours, and complete leasing paperwork.
• Support marketing initiatives and conduct local market surveys to ensure competitiveness.
• Foster resident relations and coordinate with maintenance for timely resolution.
