First Federal Savings Bank in Ottawa, IL is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor/Closer to join our on-site team. The role handles processing and closing conventional, FHA, VA and construction loans with TRID compliance.

You will manage multiple loans, review documents for accuracy, coordinate with officers, underwriters and borrowers, and ensure timely disbursement. A minimum of three years in residential mortgage processing and closing is required.

Qualificações

• Minimum three years of hands-on residential mortgage experience, including processing and closing.

Responsabilidades

• Process residential mortgage loans from application through closing for conventional, FHA, VA, and construction loans.
• Prepare and review loan estimates and disclosures; coordinate conditions with loan officers, underwriters, borrowers, and other parties.
• Prepare, review, and issue closing disclosures in compliance with TRID and deadlines.
• Prepare closing documentation; verify terms, fees, figures, and instructions with settlement agents.
• Coordinate mortgage loan funding and ensure timely disbursement of loan proceeds.
• Complete loan boarding and setup in applicable systems after closing.
• Resolve closing documentation discrepancies identified in post-closing review.
• Maintain accurate loan records and communicate status and deadlines clearly.
• Manage multiple files with competing priorities and meet quality and compliance expectations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
