Job summary

C Cherokee Nation Government Solutions (CNGS) is seeking a Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic to provide on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repair for USMC ground equipment. This role involves extensive travel to multiple field locations and requires an active Secret clearance.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and ensure compliance with safety standards and military procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining and repairing military heavy equipment.
• Must read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform field-level maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics on USMC ground equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure safety regulations compliance.
• Travel extensively to support operations at various field locations.
• Collaborate with supply and logistics to secure parts.
