Job summary

Cherokee Nation Government Solutions (CNGS) is seeking an Electronics Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems on military equipment. You will diagnose faults, repair circuit boards, and perform functional tests to meet specifications.

This full-time role requires working with diverse test equipment, interpreting manuals and schematics, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of documented electronics mechanic experience.
• Experience on military equipment preferred.
• Journeyman-level proficiency to perform complex tasks independently.
• Ability to read military manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Eligibility to obtain Government CAC.
• Proficiency with standard test equipment and ATE for military systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional tests and diagnose malfunctions in electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and align assemblies and interconnecting cables.
• Repair or replace chassis-mounted components and circuit boards.
• Provide maintenance for combat, tactical, and support equipment.
• Operate test equipment to localize faults and interpret technical manuals.
