Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and repairs in a mobile/field environment across a fleet. You will work under supervision on advanced diagnostics and keep safety and efficiency at the forefront.

Role requires HS diploma or GED and ASE T8 certification within 18 months, plus DOT compliance and a valid driver’s license. Weekly pay and career development opportunities are highlighted benefits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 3 years’ related experience, or 5 years in related field.
• Must supply own hand tools.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA compliance background check and DOT physical.
• DOT medical card acceptable in lieu of DOT physical if valid.
• 21+ years old with valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light to heavy trucks in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose, repair, and service truck equipment and systems.
• Test and road-test vehicles to verify proper operation.
• Manage parts inventory and company-issued service truck.
