Job summary

The role requires operating lathes, milling machines, band saws and drill presses on a 24/7 site. You will perform routine maintenance, develop solutions for complex issues, complete work orders, and mentor junior staff while adhering to safety standards and site procedures.

Qualifications

• Four years of hands-on experience in Machinist, Line Boring, Welding, and Boiler Making.
• Academic and practical competencies must be demonstrated and safety/written assessments may be required.
• Proficiency in welding and cutting.
• Ability to operate multiple machines (lathes, milling machines, drill presses, band saws).
• English language proficiency for understanding instructions and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance activities.
• Develop solutions for maintenance situations.
• Complete Work Orders and maintenance documentation.
• Train and mentor maintenance employees.
• Perform other duties as required.
