Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a minerals or analytical laboratory preferred, including sample preparation and lab data entry.
• Familiarity with lab procedures, standards, and quality systems.
• Strong attention to detail and solid basic lab bench skills, including accurate pipetting and contamination prevention.
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills for recordkeeping and reporting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Valid driver's license; forklift license a plus.
• Comfortable working in a remote-site or rotating-roster laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Process samples from preparation through analysis using approved digestion and dissolution methods.
• Calculate and log results, maintain worksheets, and update tracking systems.
• Operate lab equipment and ensure safe work practices; perform routine housekeeping and maintenance.
• Participate in safety discussions and pre-start/shift handovers; report hazards as needed.
