AtWork Personnel | Charlotte East is seeking an experienced Millwork Engineer for an on-site role in Charlotte, NC. Qualifications
- Microvellum: Hands‑on experience creating 2D architectural millwork shop drawings.
- AutoCAD: Proficiency interpreting AutoCAD-based drawings.
- Bluebeam Revu: Experience reviewing drawings and millwork designs.
- Architectural Millwork: Experience engineering custom millwork for production.
- Cut Rite: Experience generating panel saw optimizations.
- CNC Programming: Creating programs for single‑part and nesting CNC machines.
- WoodWOP: Programming and managing CNC operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D millwork shop drawings from architectural plans using Microvellum (AutoCAD-based software).
- Review drawings, specs, and millwork designs using Bluebeam Revu.
- Evaluate designs for manufacturability and efficiency.
- Optimize designs to improve production efficiency and material utilization.
- Generate panel saw cutting optimizations with Cut Rite.
- Create CNC programs for single‑part and nesting equipment.
- Program and manage CNC operations with WoodWOP.
- Collaborate with production to troubleshoot engineering challenges.
- Ensure shop drawings and production docs meet specs and quality.
