Job summary

NorthMark Compute & Cloud seeks an experienced MEP Manager to serve as the on-site authority for all MEP systems at its Spartanburg HPC facility. You will own electrical, mechanical, cooling, controls, and fire alarm scopes from submittal review through installation, coordinating with subcontractors, equipment vendors, and OEM reps to ensure readiness for commissioning.

The role requires 7+ years in MEP within mission-critical environments, strong knowledge of high/low voltage systems, and

Qualifications

7+ years of MEP experience in mission-critical or industrial environments.
Strong working knowledge of high/low-voltage electrical systems and building controls.
Experience reviewing MEP submittals and equipment specifications.
Experience coordinating equipment delivery, logistics, and OEM startup requirements.
Familiarity with FAT/FWT processes and technical acceptance criteria.
Procore, BIM 360, Primavera P6 proficiency.

Responsibilities

Review MEP submittals, shop drawings, and equipment specifications for technical accuracy and code compliance.
Review MEP-related RFIs; provide engineering-level technical direction to subcontractors and design teams.
Evaluate proposed design changes or field conditions affecting electrical, mechanical, cooling, or controls systems.
Coordinate technical resolution of MEP-specific conflicts identified during construction.
Work with procurement, logistics, and storage teams to confirm arrival of MEP equipment and verify installation sequencing.
Attend FAT/FWT as technical evaluator and sign off on tested equipment.
Present MEP status at OAC and stakeholder meetings.
