Job summary

NorthMark Compute & Cloud (NMC²) seeks an experienced MEP Manager to act as on-site authority for MEP systems at our Spartanburg HPC facility, overseeing electrical, mechanical, cooling, controls, and fire alarm aspects from submittals to installation.

The role interfaces with subcontractors, vendors, and OEM reps, reporting to the Dallas-based Director, Construction & Commissioning, and coordinating with QAQC & Commissioning for system readiness and commissioning documentation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of MEP technical experience in mission-critical or industrial environments.
• Strong working knowledge of high/low-voltage electrical systems, mechanical/cooling systems, building controls, and fire alarm systems.
• Experience reviewing MEP submittals, shop drawings, and equipment specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review MEP submittals, shop drawings, and equipment specifications for technical accuracy and code compliance.
• Review MEP-related RFIs; provide engineering-level technical direction to subcontractors and design teams.
• Evaluate proposed design changes or field conditions affecting electrical, mechanical, cooling, or controls systems.
• Coordinate technical resolution of MEP-specific conflicts identified during construction.
• Attend FAT/FWT as the technical evaluator; provide sign-off on technical acceptability of tested equipment.
• Present MEP technical status at OAC and stakeholder meetings.
