FMOL Health is seeking a Medical Technologist for Livingston Campus, working days on a PRN, on-site in Walker, LA. The role involves performing a range of chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic laboratory tests across areas such as chemistry, hematology, microbiology, or the blood bank.

The MT/CLS must maintain quality control, accuracy, and safety while collaborating with clinicians and staff. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with NAACLS MT/CLS training and

Qualifications

• Experience: Preferred but not required.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
• Training: One year training in a NAACLS approved MT/CLS program.
• Special Skills: Good interpersonal, communication, teamwork, critical thinking and organizational skills.
• Licensure: Licensed in Louisiana as CLS-Generalist or CLS-Specialist with Registry in applicable specialty.

Responsabilités

• Performs routine or special chemical, microscopic and bacteriologic tests with accuracy, including cell and microorganism analysis, and blood tests.
• Ensures quality control, instrument checks, and accurate daily records in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Maintains safety, infection control standards, and follows hospital policies.
• Establishes cooperative relationships with patients, physicians, staff, and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
