Responsibilities

• Receives orders and obtains specimens for laboratory analysis per policy.
• Performs high complexity testing and documents results accurately.
• Offers technical assistance in laboratory areas and maintains QC procedures.
• Maintains instrumentation knowledge and troubleshoots as needed.
• Keeps records/reports per established procedures; may rotate shifts.
• May perform front desk duties such as answering phones and registering outpatients.
