Job summary

Iowa Specialty Hospital is seeking a qualified Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician to join the laboratory team. The role focuses on maintaining competency across blood banking, hematology, chemistry, coagulation, serology, PCR analysis, and other assays.

Phlebotomy across all age groups is required, with daily lab operations including QC, testing, and maintenance. Schedule includes weekends and holidays on a rotation.

Qualifications

• Must meet all CLIA Requirements.
• MT/MLT Certification Or degree from an approved Medical Tech school with HHS certification.

Responsibilities

• Becoming and remaining competent in blood banking, hematology, chemistry, Coagulation, urinalysis, serology, PCR analysis etc.
• Performing phlebotomy on all age groups required.
• Responsible for daily operations of the laboratory, including QC, patient testing and maintenance procedures.
