Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mechatronics Technician in Santa Clara, CA, for a permanent, on-site role. You will service and repair CNC and manual machine tools at our Santa Clara center and customer sites across the territory.

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills are essential to diagnose issues, replace parts, and document service activities. The role requires travel to customer facilities as needed, with a focus on safety and precise maintenance of complex equipment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience repairing CNC and manual machine tools.
• Strong mechanical background with bearings, ball screws, gearboxes and spindles.
• Experience reading drawings and service manuals; basic electrical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair CNC mills, lathes, grinders and machining centers.
• Perform preventive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Read schematics and service manuals; document findings and repairs.
