Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to service, troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain CNC and manual machine tools at our Santa Clara technical center and customer facilities around the territory.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years repairing CNC mills, lathes, grinders, or similar equipment, and can read drawings, service manuals, and schematics. Will travel as needed and work with various mechanical systems in a hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on repair/maintenance of CNC/manual machine tools.
• Experience repairing CNC mills, lathes, grinders, or machining centers.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, service manuals, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and basic electrical problems on CNC and manual tools.
• Perform corrective repairs on CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and machining centers.
• Inspect and replace bearings, gears, belts, shafts, and spindle assemblies.
• Perform preventive maintenance to improve machine reliability and reduce downtime.
• Travel to customer facilities as required; overnight travel may be needed.
