Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians.

You will promote safety, perform preventative maintenance with proper documentation, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on MHE, including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of experience with predictive and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Associates or higher in Mechanical or Electrical field preferred.
• Willing to work flexible shifts including weekends/nights/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, etc.
• Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49 lbs and work shifts up to 12 hours with or without accommodation.
• Possible travel up to 20%.
