Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Lakewood, WA is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team. You will repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, install and service automated packaging equipment, and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

You’ll promote safety, perform preventative maintenance with documentation, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and manage inventory across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in repair of material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights and holidays.
• 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems in MHE.
• Maintain positive relationships across Operations facilities.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49 lbs and stand/walk through shifts up to 12 hours.
• Travel up to 20% at minimum.
