Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians.

The role requires 2+ years in repairing MHE, experience with predictive/preventative maintenance, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience repairing material handling equipment.
• 2+ years experience with predictive and preventative maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates or higher degree in mechanical/electrical field preferred.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• Experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• CMMS experience and safety standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair material handling equipment and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on MHE components such as belts, motors and sensors.
• Install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Mentor junior technicians to support growth and skills development.
• Complete preventative maintenance with proper documentation.
• Move up to 49 lbs and work up to 12-hour shifts; up to 20% travel.
