Job summary

CT Mechanical, a division of Comfort Temp Company, in Tampa, FL, seeks a Project Manager to own commercial mechanical and plumbing projects from planning through closeout. This on-site role based in Orlando requires regular travel to active job sites.

You will run project meetings, review drawings and submittals, chase long-lead items, and coordinate with field crews, GCs, and owners. Experience in HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration construction, plus procurement and budget ownership, is

Qualifications

• Experience managing commercial mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and submittals, and to catch coordination conflicts early.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration systems and how they get installed in the real world.
• Procurement and budget ownership including buyout, cost tracking, forecasting, and change management.
• Scheduling and risk management across multiple trades and subcontractors.
• Clear, direct communication with field crews, subs, GCs, and owners.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from planning through closeout, including schedule and budget.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate with field supervision.
• Review drawings and submittals; chase long lead items.
• Track progress against the schedule and billing.
• Document and obtain approval for change orders.
• Maintain relationships with owners, GCs, and internal teams.
