Job summary

Coperion in Whitewater, Wisconsin is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to build industrial equipment used in manufacturing. You will assemble mechanical parts, follow written instructions and drawings, and use hand and power tools to meet build specifications. This on-site role emphasizes safety, quality checks, and accurate paperwork, with a Monday–Thursday shift 6:00 a.m.

to 3:00 p.m. and Friday 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
Experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, or hands-on mechanical work.
Ability to read and follow written instructions, pictures, and basic drawings.
Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools, or willingness to learn.
Attention to detail and ability to assemble parts correctly by checking fit and alignment.

Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical parts and subassemblies by following written instructions, pictures, and basic drawings so equipment is built correctly.
Use hand tools and power tools safely to put parts together according to work instructions.
Line up, fit, and fasten parts in the correct order and direction to meet build requirements.
Perform simple quality checks, such as visual inspections and basic function checks, to ensure work meets standards.
Record work completed and parts used in required paperwork or systems to support accurate tracking.
