Job summary

Coperion in Whitewater, WI, seeks a Sr. Electrical Assembler to diagnose, repair, and rebuild electronics for customer requirements on 1st shift. You will lead hands-on assembly, collaborate with engineering and quality teams, and mentor junior assemblers on new processes.

Schedule: Mon-Thu 6am-3pm, Fri 6am-noon. We value precision, safety, and teamwork in a clean 5S production environment. Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience required; 3–5+ years in electrical assembly with

Qualifications

• Technical degree in electrical or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3–5+ years in electrical assembly, with 2+ years in a supervisory or senior role.
• Proficient with hand and power tools, soldering, crimping and electrical testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Technical Assembly & Testing: wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing per schematics.
• Systems Integration: integrate subassemblies into final hardware and perform final assembly.
• Electrical Testing: conduct basic tests to verify functionality and quality.
• Rework & Refurbishment: perform complex repairs per specifications.
• Quality Control: manufacture inspections and safety compliance.
• Leadership & Training: mentor junior assemblers and train on new processes.
• Collaboration: work with engineering, quality, and project management teams.
• Documentation & Compliance: maintain production logs and ensure ISO/electrical standards.
