Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) in Boulder, CO, is seeking a Materials Planner to translate demand and inventory needs into executable material plans that support production schedules and customer commitments. This on-site role reports to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain.

You will develop material plans, monitor availability, optimize SAP parameters, and collaborate across functions to strengthen planning accuracy and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in materials planning, supply planning, inventory management, or operations.
• Experience using an enterprise resource planning system, such as SAP, to manage material requirements planning.
• Experience analyzing demand, inventory, lead-time, and supply data to identify shortages and risks.
• CPIM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain material plans that align supply with production requirements, customer demand, and inventory targets.
• Monitor material availability, planning signals, and inventory health; identify shortages and drive timely resolution.
• Optimize SAP planning parameters, stocking levels, and order quantities based on lead times and priorities.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Procurement, Scheduling, Customer Care, and other teams to resolve constraints and support On-Time Delivery.
• Use data and root-cause analysis to improve planning accuracy, inventory performance, and standard work.
