Job summary

ADM is seeking a Material Planner in Forsyth, MO to manage daily purchase orders for raw materials, packaging, and related items, ensuring on-time processing and accurate records.

The role requires strong problem-solving, organizational, and ERP proficiency. You will collaborate with Logistics, Procurement, and other teams to optimize costs, accuracy, and supplier performance while supporting an ERP implementation project and other supply chain duties.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (ADM MIS is a plus).
• Ability to work independently and manage a multifaceted workload.

Responsibilities

• Issue and manage purchase orders (POs) daily for raw materials, packaging, and miscellaneous items.
• Ensure timely and accurate PO processing to prevent delays in production or vendor payments.
• Collaborate with Logistics to determine transport modes and manage freight costs.
• Manage inbound raw material categories and troubleshoot delivery delays for seamless operations.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and support supplier payments to ensure timely payments.
• Track and report supplier performance metrics, including KPIs.
• Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory records and coordinate disposition actions for accuracy.
• Support ERP implementation project and related data updates.
• Assist with inventory control, production planning, and other supply chain tasks.
