Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Material Coordinator to support the Navy JBCP at our Hanahan, SC location. This position is 100% on-site. The role involves a wide spectrum of tasks related to shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics support.

Responsibilities include inventory tracking, staging, packing, and creating kit assemblies while using barcode systems to maintain accurate records. You will work with BOMs and drawings and assist in planning logistics projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years' inventory/shipping experience, including forklift operation.
• Experience with computer-based inventory and barcode systems.
• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory tracking, staging, packing, storage and shipping.
• Perform material picks for work orders and kit assemblies.
• Maintain inventory records using barcode systems and databases.
• Verify shipments and report discrepancies.
• Support logistics projects and weekly reporting.
• Assist with BOM, drawings, and equipment documentation.
