Job summary

JPW Industries is seeking a Material Handler/Operator 1 in Albert Lea, MN to move inventory, stock builder bays, and ensure accurate, on-time shipping of finished machines and parts. You’ll handle receiving, inventory, and production support on a fast-paced shop floor.

You will be trained to forklift operation and cross-trained to cover shipping duties. The role is fully on-site with potential flexible hours, offering competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification required (training provided).
• Familiarity with shipping/receiving methods, fabrication procedures.
• Ability to read assembly drawings, prints, and material specs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage inventory flow.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and move material to fabrication or inventory storage.
• Verify quantities and maintain traceability of materials.
• Keep builder bays stocked to prevent production delays.
• Assist in packing, shipping, and loading finished machines.
• Coordinate with Shipping Lead/Supervisor to prepare orders.
