Job summary

Corintis is expanding its manufacturing footprint in Germany and seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer to own end-to-end production, drive process industrialization at a contract partner, and lead on-site quality and ramp activities. You will be the primary Corintis face on site with autonomy to shape the production line.

Based near Cologne/Bonn, you will collaborate with engineering, quality and supply chain while reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager from Lausanne.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in process or manufacturing engineering in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of owning a process at a contract manufacturer.
• Hands-on experience industrializing new technologies.
• Strong command of process and quality engineering tools, used personally and not only reviewed.
• Ability to be the customer's face on someone else's shop floor.
• Autonomy and ability to report to Lausanne while working on site in Germany.
• Based in Germany or willing to relocate near Cologne/Bonn with travel.
• Professional working English; German is an advantage.
• Experience with metal additive manufacturing and/or sintering-based processes is expected.
• Degree in mechanical, materials, manufacturing or industrial engineering, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Act as Corintis' resident manufacturing process owner at our contract manufacturing partner.
• Own the build program end to end.
• Drive the industrialization of new process steps at the partner.
• Lead on-site process capability plans for product performance.
• Own process monitoring and continuous improvement on the line.
• Own the additive manufacturing and sintering process chain on site.
• Provide permanent technical presence through the new production line installation and ramp.
• Manage the operational side of the partnership.
• Run the on-site quality loop.
• Build the operating rhythm of the program.
• Grow and later lead a small local Corintis support team on site as volumes increase
