GE Aerospace in Indianapolis seeks a Combustor and Structural Parts Design Resident Engineer to lead on-site engineering efforts for CSC hardware, aligning design, manufacturing, and quality to improve producibility and on-time engine deliveries.

The role requires cross‑functional collaboration, hands‑on problem solving, and mentoring of junior engineers while driving continuous improvement and technical excellence within the CSC value stream.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering Technology or similar.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering.
• Strong GD&T, manufacturing processes, producibility and design-for-manufacture principles.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the on-site engineering representative in Indianapolis for CSC, linking engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and quality.
• Partner with internal shops, suppliers, and design teams to improve producibility and manufacturing readiness for on-time engine delivery.
• Provide hands-on manufacturing engineering support by improving design‑to‑manufacturing integration across CSC hardware.
• Execute design, analysis and technical evaluation of mechanical engineering projects in line with product requirements and standards.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and strengthen team capability and execution.
