Job summary

You will develop automated processes, qualify new products on manufacturing equipment, and support process improvements for engineering teams. The role requires strong CAD/CAM skills, tolerance to rigorous documentation, and experience with automated manufacturing systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent required or preferred.
• High school diploma or GED and 5+ years in an engineering environment.
• Proficient with CAD/CAM tools and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and processes is valued.

Responsibilities

• Create, verify and release machining programs for CNC, EDM, and Waterjet.
• Create and verify robot programs for automated cells.
• Design and deliver tooling and fixtures for manufacturing processes.
• Develop and implement new automation and equipment.
• Support capital funding justification and cost reduction initiatives.
• Maintain documentation including SOPs and work instructions.
• Mentor peers in CAD/ CAM and automation.
