Job summary

Lillibridge Healthcare Services in Charleston, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and general property upkeep across assigned buildings.

You will manage work orders, support safety standards, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with the supervisor to maintain equipment, inventories, and cost controls. On-site, five days a week, 8-5, with after-hours call duties.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience and technical training.
• High school graduate or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Ability to read design documents and manufacturer specs.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for maintenance tasks using work-order software.
• Implement routine physical improvements and preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergencies per department protocol.
• Assist with stocking, inventories, and logs of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain records and preventive maintenance plans with supervisor.
• Help control operating expenses for building operations.
• Communicate status and changes to appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to safety standards and policies; maintain professional conduct.
• Interact professionally with tenants, clients, and coworkers.
• Use tools and materials safely; perform other duties as assigned.
