Job summary

ADM Animal Nutrition in Effingham, IL is hiring a Maintenance position on site. Hours are Monday–Friday, 6am – 2:30pm with possible overtime; pay is $27/hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Maintenance experience or vocational/technical training in a mechanical field.
• Basic knowledge of process equipment.
• Forklift driving experience is required.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair plant mechanical equipment and electrical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist in purchasing parts and supplies.
• Maintain knowledge of production processes and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties and install/align equipment as needed.
• Develop knowledge of maintenance records, parts, and vendors; access department information.
• Perform welding duties when required and document time spent and parts used.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintain maintenance records for reporting.
