Job summary

GCI Residential is seeking an On-Site Maintenance Technician at the Pine Ridge apartment community in Willoughby Hills, Ohio. You will maintain appearance and safety, respond to service requests, and prepare homes for new residents.

Live on-site in a provided two-bedroom apartment, perform HVAC, electrical and carpentry repairs, and work with the Maintenance Supervisor to deliver outstanding resident service. Paid CFC training and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of multifamily apartment maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, HVAC systems, and building exterior repairs.
• Strong commitment to customer service with the ability to build positive relationships with residents and team members.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call schedules as needed.
• Ability to live on-site in the provided two-bedroom apartment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall appearance and safety of the community for all residents.
• Apply your troubleshooting expertise to respond promptly and professionally to a variety of residential service requests.
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents by completing repairs related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances, pools, and building exteriors.
• Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to create a community residents are proud to call home.
