Job summary

GCI Residential in Streetsboro, OH is seeking an On-Site Maintenance Technician to join Settler’s Landing. You’ll fix HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliances and keep the property safe and welcoming.

You must have at least 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience, hands-on skills, strong troubleshooting, and be willing to live on-site in the provided 2-bedroom apartment. EPA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of multifamily maintenance experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances and building exteriors.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to live on-site in provided 2-bedroom apartment.
• EPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and building exteriors.
• Diagnose and resolve maintenance requests with a customer-first mindset.
• Prepare homes for new residents and perform preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure smooth operations.
• Foster positive relationships with residents to encourage retention.
