Job summary

GCI Residential is seeking an On-Site Maintenance Technician for the Pine Ridge community in Willoughby Hills, Ohio. You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain Safety, appearance, and resident satisfaction while residents live in a provided two-bedroom apartment.

The role requires at least 2 years of multifamily maintenance, knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of multifamily apartment maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, HVAC systems, and building exterior repairs.
• Strong commitment to customer service with the ability to build positive relationships with residents and team members.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call schedules as needed.
• Ability to live on-site in the provided two-bedroom apartment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall appearance and safety of the community for all residents.
• Apply your troubleshooting expertise to respond promptly and professionally to a variety of residential service requests.
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents by completing repairs related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances, pools, and building exteriors.
• Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to create a community residents are proud to call home.
