Job summary

Sotera Health Company in Gurnee, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform daily facility maintenance and scheduled PMs on processing equipment. You will troubleshoot mechanical failures, perform repairs, and coordinate with operations and contractors to minimize downtime.

The role requires strong reading of electrical diagrams, ladder logic, and the ability to work with 480-volt 3-phase power. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of maintenance experience in a processing/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and ladder logic.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine daily maintenance on facility and scheduled PMs on processing equipment.
• Identifies problems, collects data, and carries out repairs to restore equipment.
• Interacts with operations staff and outside contractors as needed.
• Adheres to all safety programs and training requirements.
