Job summary

Thrive Communities in Seattle is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to perform unit turns, routine repairs, and preventive maintenance across our properties. You will partner with leasing staff and managers to keep communication clear and residents satisfied.

This 100% in-person, full-time role requires strong customer service, ability to work after hours, and basic English data entry. You’ll bring tools, a valid license, and a proactive approach to safety and quality in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ maintenance experience.
• 1+ years in multifamily property management preferred.
• Experience with unit turns and appliance repair.
• Basic computer skills; English data entry.
• CAMT and CPO certifications are a plus.
• Must supply own tools.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance tasks such as unit turns and work orders.
• Partners with leasing staff and managers to ensure seamless communication and organization.
• Schedules and performs routine preventative maintenance on all appropriate equipment and tools.
• Participates in safety meetings and abides by all OSHA,SDS safety requirements.
• Diagnoses and performs minor or routine maintenance and repairs within homes and throughout the property.
• Maintains grounds and professional appearance of the property.
• Inspects and helps coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services.
• Emergency on-call is required as part of the position.
• Strives to exceed residents' expectations for excellent customer service.
• Performs all additional duties assigned by Direct Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, Community Manager, or Regional team member.
