Job summary

The Collier Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team onsite in Port Orange, FL. You will support the maintenance team and ensure property standards are met, with responsibilities spanning HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more.

Ideal candidates have EPA certification (or equivalent), at least 1 year of experience, and a strong customer-service mindset. Flexibility for nights/weekends and an on-call rotation is required, plus reliable transport and a valid in-state driver’s

Qualifications

• Universal EPA certification is a plus!
• Experience as a maintenance technician for at least 1 year preferred
• Strong work ethic and an eager-to-learn attitude
• Apartment housing experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of appliances, plumbing & HVAC
• Organized, efficient, and detail-oriented to complete work orders
• Able to work a flexible schedule, which may include nights/weekends and emergency-on-call rotation
• Proven track record of excellent customer service
• Technician must have basic tools and be able to pass basic maintenance test.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid instate driver's license

Responsibilities

• Support the Maintenance Team in ensuring that the physical aspects of the property meet established standards.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose problems, and make solutions with a customer service attitude.
• Potential repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywalling, exterior structural, and appliance areas.
