Job summary

The Collier Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in Fort Myers, FL. You will support the maintenance group in ensuring our properties meet company standards and promptly address issues to keep residents comfortable and safe.

This full-time role requires hands-on skills in HVAC (certified if applicable), electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, and general repair work. A customer-service mindset and willingness to work flexible hours are essential.

Qualifications

EPA certification is a plus.
At least 1 year of maintenance technician experience preferred.
Strong work ethic and eager-to-learn attitude.
Apartment housing experience preferred.
Working knowledge of appliances, plumbing & HVAC.
Organized, efficient, and detail-oriented to complete work orders.
Possible night/weekend shifts and on-call rotation.
Excellent customer service is expected.
Must have basic tools and pass a maintenance test.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid in-state driver's license.

Responsibilities

Support maintenance team to keep properties up to standards.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
Handle on-call emergencies as part of rotation.
