Job summary

Green Alpha Property Management is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support our Baton Rouge, LA apartment complex. This full-time role (40 hours per week) pays $18-$20 per hour and requires a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic. You will respond to work orders, support preventative maintenance, and ensure units and facilities are ready for move-in.

Proficiency with AppFolio and basic computer skills are expected. We value integrity, reliability, and customer service.

Qualifications

• HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
• Mechanical, plumbing, and electrical experience preferred.
• 1+ years of maintenance experience required.
• Computer experience required.
• Legally permitted to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Respond timely to requests/work orders and resolve issues.
• Support preventative maintenance across properties.
• Ensure facilities and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting) are in good order.
• Make units move-in ready with checklists and visits.
• Update work orders in AppFolio and maintain property cleanliness.
