Job summary

Green Alpha Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support three apartment complexes in Theodore, AL. This full-time role (40 hours/week) offers compensation of $18-$20 per hour and requires willingness to learn.

HVAC/EPA certification is preferred, with experience in mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. The role involves responding to work orders, assisting preventative maintenance, ensuring move-in readiness, and using AppFolio to manage tasks.

Qualifications

• HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
• Mechanical, plumbing, and electrical experience preferred.
• 1+ years maintenance experience required.
• Computer experience required.
• Strong honesty, integrity, and work ethic.
• Driver's license and ability to travel to properties.
• Show legal documentation showing ability to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Respond timely to requests/work orders and resolve issues promptly.
• Support preventative maintenance across properties.
• Ensure facilities systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, exterior) are in good working order.
• Ensure units are 100% ready for move-in with checklists and site visits.
• Update and maintain work orders in AppFolio (in-house property management software).
• Maintain clean properties and keep complexes free of debris.
